Little boy enjoys playing with the mini engineer playset, I guess the red color attract him to this mini workshop playset. He opened the case, take out the item pieces by pieces and start to explore it.

As a mother, I think it is important to let them play with the workshop tools such as the screw, nails, and drills so that they learn about the workshop and repair tool. One of the concepts I want to introduce to my kid is he should be taking the initiative to fix repair any stuff, helping the father and understand that he has the responsibility to maintain the house.

Tools, screw and nails can be kept in the case. It makes me easy to take it for travel and keep him busy. :-)

I enjoyed teaching my son all the different names of the tools and explaining what each one was used for.

He was told to use screwdriver to remove the nuts, but he insists on trying with his little finger. It is good to train his little finger motor skill. This is a really cute set of play tools.

Tips for Buy Toys Online

From time to time, I received a question from parents via what's app or fb such as "why the same cooking toys cheaper on www.xxxx.com", or "why this toy is more expensive than that toy"? Hence, I would like to share some tips to parents on the factor to be taken into account when you want to buy toys for your children.

1. Know what are you buying

When parents post a question about why other cooking toys look similar but so cheap. I bet this question comes to parents mind everytime they ponder the toys online store.

The first thing you need to check out is if the toy has fewer features. For example, maybe the toys have no battery operated feature, no light, no sound and the material is fragile. So, as a consumer, we need to read the product details first before we decide which one to go.

Please pay attention to the quality of the product, size, material, dimension of the product. Please bear in mind that picture can be download everywhere and not necessary taken from the real product.

A customer gave a feedback to me that he bought a wooden toys truck from seller A, but he got a low-quality wood material. Then he made another purchase for the same toy truck from seller B, and he received a fine wooden toys truck for his son. One of the reasons why he got into this situation is because Seller A and Seller B use the same product image which hard for him to learn the difference. Again, please read the details before click to buy toys online. It is hard to tell the difference by just looking at the picture of the product.

2. Know who are you buying from

Before you place an order on any online toys store or any market place, please check where the item ship from, local supplier or oversea supplier? Pay attention to this details because it will impact after sales service.

3. How long it takes to get your toys

Normally local supplier will deliver your item within a week. But oversea supplier might take up to 1 - 2 months to send your product. So, if you need to get a toy as a gift or need it urgently for other purposes, you need to take this factor into buying decision.

4. Know whom can you contact if you receive defective product

You may check with the supplier how they handle the return, defective products, and postage fees. In some cases, the supplier may claim that the product is in good condition when they ship out, so they are not responsible for any damage caused by the shipping company. So, you may ask them, what if you receive a defective toy, will they take the responsibility? It is important to look into it to avoid any upset.Nobody can guarantee every driver will handle the item in good care during the delivery process.

5. Read seller's review

Read the reviews: You can get valuable information from the product reviews. Sometimes buyers will post tips or hints about the toy that you're thinking about purchasing. Reading other people's input will help you to make the most informed choice.
